Mrs. Christen A. Davis graduated from Erskine in 1998 with a major in Business Administration. She brings over 25 years of expertise in the business and manufacturing sectors. She earned a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts from Erskine College, where she excelled as a collegiate athlete in Women’s Softball, playing multiple positions including pitcher, second base, and catcher, while simultaneously working full-time as a waitress. This early experience instilled in her a strong sense of commitment and teamwork, which has defined her career.
Christen began her professional journey as a process engineer in the textile industry, where she quickly demonstrated her leadership potential, advancing to the role of Plant Human Resources Manager within two years. She then transitioned to the medical device sector, where her contributions as a process and quality engineer generated continuous improvement for her organization. Throughout her career, she has been driven by her commitment to delivering superior products and representing the excellence of her colleagues and company.
In her current role as Senior Director of Quality, Christen oversees multiple operations across North and South America, managing thousands of products within the pharmaceutical, health, and nutrition industries on a global scale. Leading a team of professionals and ensuring excellence in product compliance, she ensures that quality and innovation are maintained in a highly competitive and fast-evolving marketplace. Her dedication to exceeding customer expectations remains a central focus of her leadership.
Christen has also made significant contributions to her community, having served as Chairwoman of Keep Greenwood County Beautiful for three years. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees and Holding Board of Director for the Greenwood Genetic Center. A dedicated wife of 23 years to the General Manager of JPPA, Christen is also a proud mother of two teenage sons, both accomplished in athletics and academics, attending Presbyterian College and Ninety Six High School, respectively.
