B.S., Psychology (’70)
Masters of Education in Secondary Administration: Clemson
The psychology degree I earned at Erskine, along with my education requirements, enabled me to teach high school psychology in Greenville County Schools. Since then, I have earned a Master of Education in both Secondary Guidance and Secondary Administration. I have spent my career serving as a guidance counselor and, for the majority of my years, as an administrator in Greenville County high schools.
I am incredibly passionate about Erskine College; I loved it from the moment I first set foot on campus. The friends I made there have become lifelong friends, and the administration and professors were always supportive whenever help was needed. The academics were rigorous, and the fun times we shared remain so memorable. Thankfully now I have the opportunity to give back to Erskine in service.
Giving back to Erskine monetarily is important because the college provided the springboard for my career success. While I often wish I could do more, I have realized that any contribution, regardless of the amount, makes a meaningful difference.
