Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Land graduated from Erskine in 1990 with degrees in both English and Psychology. She recently retired from the medical field and is the former director of the Abbeville County Library System. She is from Teaneck, New Jersey.

Mary Elizabeth serves on the board because Erskine’s faculty and staff were influential in making her into the person she is today.
