After receiving her undergraduate degree from Erskine College, Katie began her career by working with the Gaston County School system as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She then went on to earn a Masters in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University in 2011 before working for Carolina’s Healthcare System then Carolina Orthopaedic in Gastonia. Katie graduated with a tDPT degree from Winston-Salem State University on August of 2026. Currently, she is managing a growing outpatient PT practice in York while looking forward to opening a de novo clinic in Gastonia in the Fall of 2026. Katie has a special interest in education, manual lymphatic drainage, dry needling, cupping, vestibular/concussion therapy, as well as spinal manipulation.
